Hey everyone! Pokémon Go has taken over everything this summer and it is taking the world by storm! I started playing as soon as it became available in the United States, however due to my poor data plan I’ve been very limited in the amount of time I can play.
Alright, so to the tag!
The Pokémon Go Book Tag was created by Aentee @ Read at Midnight (the graphics were also created by Aentee). I saw this tag on Ellie @Sam’s Little Corner blog, and she tagged me
Without further ado, here is the Pokémon Go Book Tag:
A Wrinkle in Time by Madelein L’Egle. It was just such a unique story and was the first time I was exposed to a bittersweet ending. I started reading the sequels from there and started reading other books from that point.
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, even though I’m older and not the same person I was when I first read the book I still love it and read it happily.
Normally I’d say Twilight, but this now goes to A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones), you can see my thoughts on it here https://gimmesamich89.wordpress.com/2016/06/29/i-am-not-obligated-to-like-game-of-thrones-and-neither-are-you/.
Gosh so many tropes, I guess these days I’d say most YA dystopian books. I mainly think of Divergent and how it was suggested to me by people saying it was like The Hunger Games and it was a little too similar to The Hunger Games for me to enjoy.
Pretty Little Liars, I was briefly interested in reading the series until I saw how long it was and just told myself no.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I read that book as fast as I could within that weekend to avoid all spoilers from MySpace.
Harry and Ginny, Jk Rowling may have changed her mind about the pairing, but it’s still canon Harry/Hermione shippers!
The Lunar Chronicles were very fast paced to me, I couldn’t put them down and enjoyed them so much!
This is a bit of a hard one since I feel every series does need to end (I’m not fond of franchise zombies), but I have been shockingly delighted at the Harry Potter spin offs. I wonder if Doctor Who can count here? Probably not.
I wouldn’t say awesome, but when I read The Little Prince again as an adult a few months back it did leave a stronger impression on me than when I was a kid. It was sadder to think about things and realize what really happened at the end of the book and the fate of the real life author.
Harry Potter, always.
I’d love to have the special editions of all the Harry Potter books and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Hm debut novels, done know of any, but I am excited for the Ahsoka Tano book coming out.
Merissa Meyer, JK Rowling (even if I was unsatisfied with The Casual Vacancy), Serah Elinsen.
Aw man I haven’t been through this in a long time. I’m a fairly patient person when it comes to books since I always find something to read between books. Does waiting for my own work to get published count? lol
That’s it for the Pokémon Go Book Tag! Thank you all for reading this post and comment below on any thoughts you have on this post.
I’m not tagging anyone lol
